WEIRD SCIENCE – contribute your comment here

Posted by Stephen Law on January 22, 2009

The CFI WEIRD SCIENCE event at Conway Hall was attended by over 200 people. This was a hugely entertaining event looking into the science of the weird in the morning (fire-walking, dowsing, paranormal, ghosts, psychics, etc.) and bullshit science in the afternoon with myself and Ben Goldacre (author of Bad Science). We hope to see many of you again for GOD IN THE LAB on March 21st. For those that missed this event, here is Richard Wiseman’s video of the amazing floating cork trick. Your comments and suggestions on this event very welcome – see below. Stephen Law, CFIUK Provost.

PS. Just to say, if you paid £10 for this event, you can become a Friend for just another £20, and get free entry this year to all our events at Conway Hall (also, further 50% discount to students – so just another £10). Plus possibly some extra benefits I am working on…
